Images: Mocked up spreads

As I work on a book, I like to mock up 3d models of spreads like these. You get a real sense of where you’re going, of scale, of how the pages and images are coming together. And you can make changes.

They also don’t hurt for communicating what the book is all about to people who perhaps aren’t as engaged in the process as yourself. Maybe someone will see something in these images that they like, and want to know more. I hope so.

I can do all kinds of fancy stuff with the models created, but I quite like to keep them nice and simple for this initial look through. Enjoy.
